Taxman Brewing Company Taxman Brewing Company Bargersville, IN Bargersville, IN Full-time Full-time $15 - $18 an hour $15 - $18 an hour This position is responsible assisting with various cellar responsibilities in the brewery.
Key Responsibilities include:
Keg washing & racking Packaging of draft, bottled and canned beer Draft system cleaning and maintenance Managing the beer cooler and rotating inventory as needed Checking gravities, dry hopping tanks, monitoring fermentation temps and testing CO2 levels of conditioning beer General brewery cleaning and maintenance, including Clean In Place (CIP) and sanitizing Participate in brewery preventative maintenance (PM) program Assist in all aspects of cellaring, aging, yeast handling, and beer conditioning programs Attend industry related events and give brewery tours as needed Educate tasting room staff on production and beer styles Assist brewing staff with wort production as needed Safe operation of fork lifts, pallet jacks and other stock maneuverability equipment Position Requirements Ability to work safely in an industrial environment, including (but not limited to) using sanitation chemicals properly, utilizing appropriate PPE and identifying/correcting potential workplace hazard.
Ability to lift 60 lbs.
Ability to maneuver in enclosed spaces and on ladder elevations Work Schedule This is a full-time position that in general will require average work week of 40 hours.
This position is typically Monday - Friday (8am - 5pm), but may require some evenings and weekends.
